Intro

Universal Laws, also referred to as Laws of Nature are the unwavering and unchanging principles that govern every aspect of the Universe and are the means by which our world and the entire cosmos continues to exist, thrive and expand.

Universal Laws are founded on the understanding that everything in the Universe is energy, including us. Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions are all forms of energy. What we think, feel, say, and do in each moment comes back to us to create our realities. Energy moves in a circle, so what goes around comes around.

The following Universal Laws and Principles each play a significant part in how and why the LifeVision works.

LOA

The Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction states that what you focus on with emotion and belief, you will attract into your life. This Universal Law demonstrates how we create the things, events, and people that come into our lives. Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions produce energies, which, in turn, attract like energies. Negative energies attract negative energies and positive energies attract positive energies. The Law of Attraction is at the very core of what the LifeVision is based on.  By listening to your recorded LifeVision daily, you are indeed focusing on exactly what you want to attract into your life.

With the phenomenon surrounding the release of the highly popular docudrama “The Secret” in 2006 the Law of Attraction was the highlight of many talk and radio shows and buzzing conversations amongst family, friends and colleagues. (Click here to Order “The Secret for just $10 – regularly $30) The motivational experts  featured on “The Secret” however were not the ones that originated or even discovered this age-old law.

The simplest definition of The Law of Attraction is “like attracts like.” There are other familiar definitions or clever ways of expressing the Law of Attraction:

  • “You get what you think about, whether wanted or unwanted.”
  • “You get what you put your energy and focus on.”
  • “Birds of a feather flock together.”
  • “As a man thinketh, so is he.”
  • “What you put out you get back.”
  • “What goes around comes around.”

Although sometimes considered trite comments …  “What you think is what you get.” or “What you think is what you are.” these are nevertheless accurate statements based in Universal Law.  And yet many people are truly convinced that life just “happens to them.”

The truth is, you are the creator of your reality through your thoughts. This Universal Law is working in your life right now, whether you are aware of it or not. You are attracting people, situations, jobs, emotions, health, and much more into your life. That’s what Creating Your LifeVision is about, deliberately attracting what you want into your life by making conscious choices of what your ideal life and the vision of what your ideal you looks like.

Once you define and envision your ideal life and gain clarity about what you want, you can then use the power of your own thoughts, both consciously and unconsciously to create just that.

You can create and manifest everything you truly desire in life, with nearly no exceptions. But how do we do that? Do we simply just need to ask? “The Secret” left many asking those very questions. Most of us discovered that there must be something we missed; there must be something more to getting what we want in life than simply asking the Universe for it.  And the answer is…Yes!  In order to attract all of the things you desire in your life, there are several other factors involved. Ideal LifeVision fills in the the missing steps and details of creating your most ideal life.

Cause and Effect

The Law Of Cause And Effect

The Law of Cause and Effect often referred to, as The Law of The Harvest is an important factor to consider in creating your ideal life. The simplest definitions “What you put into it… you get out of It.” or “You reap what you sow.” clearly illustrates the idea that there is something more than just asking for something to happen in your life. James Allen teaches, “Sow an act, and you reap a habit. Sow a habit and you reap a character.  Sow a character and you reap a destiny.”

The Law of Cause and Effect is the Universal Law that exemplifies that short cuts and quick fixes are no substitute for hard work, patience, perseverance, and strong values. The Law of Cause and Effect is dependable.  We know we can count on it. When we plant a pumpkin seed, a pumpkin will grow.  An acorn will not grow an apple tree.  We must be willing to sow the right seeds in order to reap our desired harvest.

To even better understand The Law of Cause and Effect, let’s continue with this metaphor and take a closer look at the process of sowing and reaping and apply it to ourselves.

Step 1: Prepare the Ground

Before you start planting a garden, you must prepare the ground. You can’t just throw some carrot seeds out on your lawn and expect a bushel of carrots next month. First you must till the ground, pull out all the weeds and grass, and plow your rows. There are things that we must do to prepare the ground for our dreams & success. First, we must believe our dreams are possible; look at what we see as our ultimate potential in our future. We must get very CLEAR on what it is you want in your life. And then develop a step-by-step plan of action for accomplishment.

Step 2: Plant the Seed

If you prepare the soil but never plant the seeds, nothing will grow. Planting in life is doing something about your plans and goals. It’s taking the actions necessary. You will never know if the plan for your life is good if you don’t work the plan.

Step 3: Have Patience

Does pulling up a zucchini plant periodically to see how the roots are growing make sense?  No, of course not. Plants and goals must be given time to develop and grow. Don’t give up on your dreams before they have a chance to fully reveal their potential. Many of us plant the seed, it is always easy to get started and excited about something, but sadly, we are sometimes only willing to give it a few days before we say… “Well it looks like this isn’t a good seed after all, it hasn’t grown into anything yet! Well at least I tried.” We get frustrated and dig it all up and plant another seed.

Many people run from business to business, relationship to relationship, or new idea to the next: never giving anything time to grow and develop. Often we do this because we lack patience, but we also lack clarity on what we really want. If we have a long-term vision of what we want our garden or dream life to look like, we will be more patient and give it the time it needs to germinate and grow.

Step 4: Nourish the Plant

Once you have tilled the ground (developed a belief in yourself), chosen the right seeds (decided on your goals and clarified them), and planted them (written down your action plan in your LifeVision with the How’s When’s and Why’s), can you just sit back, relax and wait for the harvest? No… there’s more to be done. If we nourish our plant, it will take root and grow. If we neglect the plant and take no action for its nourishment, it will not take root. When the heat of the sun comes and scorches it, it will wither away because it has no root holding it securely and firmly planted.

How can you nourish your plant or the development of your Ideal LifeVision allowing the Law of Cause and Effect to work most effectively?

1- Listen to your recorded LifeVision daily.

2- Continue to update and revise your LifeVision as needed with new

    goals, dreams, and implementation ideas.

3- Keep taking action.

4- Continually believe in yourself as you visualize your dreams and

    watch them come true.

5- Be accountable to your coach.

The Law of Cause and Effect states that nothing happens by chance. Every action has a reaction and we “reap what we have sown.”The results of your life thus far are a direct result of the kinds of thoughts and ideas you put into your mind these thoughts and ideas are directly related to the growth of your attitudes, beliefs and results.

Law of Gratitude

The Law of Gratitude

The Law of Gratitude states that we are more aware of the positive aspects of any situation if we have an open and grateful heart. Gratitude is a very powerful force for creating good things in your life, when it’s properly applied. Financial prosperity, loving relationships and inner peace are some of the common results. The Law of Gratitude will keep your mind focused on the good rather than the bad. You can think more abundantly by having gratitude.

Many highly successful people recognize that The Law of Gratitude is a powerful force for creating good things in your life such as financial abundance, rich relationships and abundant health. In Wallace Wattle’s book that inspired the creation of “The Secret”, The Science of Getting Rich, Wattles teaches: “There is a Law of Gratitude and if you are to get the results you wish to see, it is absolutely necessary that you should observe this law.

Gratitude is important to focus on and to express often. Gratitude is a very high vibrational energy of thought; it is capable of attracting powerfully. Wallace Wattle also teaches “You cannot exercise much power without gratitude, because it is gratitude that keeps you connected with power.  The creative power within us makes us into the image of that to which we give our attention. The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best, therefore it will receive the best.”

In it’s simplest form, gratitude is recognition of abundance and an acknowledgement of blessings.  We have learned that there is magic in gratitude. The simplicity of being grateful and the powerful effect it has on our lives is unequaled by any other quality. If we are grateful for all that we have, we are focused on placing the highest possible energy on our desire.

Gratitude is said to be a virtue, but it is helpful to think of it as a practice. Unlike playing the harp or racing a triathlon, the practice of gratitude is easy and painless and can be expressed or recognized immediately. You practice it each time you thank someone or thank your higher source or spirit. Gratitude can and will speed you through your growth and success more than any amount of hard work ever could.

Many people have found great benefit in writing things they are grateful for regularly in a journal. Try writing five things you are grateful for in your Gratitude Journal every day. Your entire outlook on life will change because you will be looking for the things you are happy about to record later on in your journal. You simply will not be the same person soon after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law; the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given to you. By creating an attitude of gratitude you will see the world in a different light. You will feel joy and abundant happiness. Everything will become an expression of love.

Wheel of Life

The Wheel of Life

The Wheel of Life is a pictorial metaphor of the balance within your life. It is called the Wheel of Life because each area of your life is mapped on a circle, like the spokes of a wheel. The Wheel of Life is a powerful visual representation of the way your life is currently and reflects a clear view of what you can change to create the life you desire.

When life is busy, or your energy is focused on a special project, it’s easy to find yourself off balance, not paying enough attention to all of the important areas of your life. Look at your Wheel of Life, if you were to put your Wheel of Life on the axel of a car, would your ride be a bumpy ride or would it be a smooth ride? Although drive and focus is key in getting things done, it is important to remember that being out of balance can lead to frustration and stress.

If your ride is bumpy, it is time to align your Wheel of Life. Finding and maintaining a comfortable balance in life is a universal challenge. Part of the confusion about balance, comes from thinking that balance means equal amounts of time. Consider a new definition of balance…. paying attention to every aspect of your life on a regular basis.

The Wheel of life is powerful because it gives you a vivid visual representation of the way your life is currently, compared with the way you would ideally like it to be. First thing’s first! This is the beginning of a fun and inspirational process that will help you focus on those activities required for you to achieve your goals so you can ultimately fulfill what is truly important in your life.

There are many different places online to find this and similar exercises. CLICK HERE for one example.

There are 5 Key Areas of Your Life that require balance:

1- Spiritual

2- Relationships

3- Health and Physical

4- Professional and Financial

5- Personal Development

Spirituality allows the opportunity to tap into a power greater than ourselves as a source of inspiration. An appreciation of morality, the arts, wonder, awe, and nature will heighten our awareness of the spiritual dimension.

Relationships provide us with the opportunity to express love, assume and share responsibility, build strong bonds, and contribute to society.

Health and Physical considerations are an important component of mind, body, and spirit balance. Exercise, a proper diet, and sufficient sleep are the ingredients to success in this area.

Professional and Financial roles and responsibilities provide us with the opportunity to earn income, express our personality, and develop our potential. By managing our financial life effectively we plan for the purchase of a car, home ownership, vacations, and retirement income.

Personal Development increases and improves our emotional and intellectual development. It is important to set aside time to allow for self-improvement and developing new skills.

We take on many unique roles in life, each of which allows us to express a different dimension of our being. Yet these roles if not balanced can overwhelm us creating stress, unhappiness, and unrealized dreams. When you are in balance, you are more creative, more productive, and can truly experience the process and joys of life.

If you are doing well in your career, but your family is complaining that you’re not spending enough time with them- your life needs balancing. If it is not only your career, but also your body size that is growing and growing- your life needs balancing. If you can boast superior skills playing video or computer games or you are playing poker every night, and have no time for personal development, to fix the leaky faucet, mow the lawn, or exercise- your life needs balancing.

Because we are unique, everyone will balance their lives in their own way. Great artists may be consumed by their craft, spending little time elsewhere. They are of great value to society yet their lives may be considered unbalanced. The important lesson is not about balancing our lives perfectly, but about balancing our unique Wheel of Life for a smooth ride that best expresses our potential and purpose.

To roll along smoothly and move ahead in life begin by setting goals in The 5 Key Areas of Your Life. Write down the actions that will steer you towards your ideal balanced life in each area. Often by selecting a single action or goal, the hub of that single action can provide centered growth as it radiates to more than one area of your life. This single action or goal can ignite the power to create a spherical wave of growth and influence in your magnificent life.

Be-Do-Have Paradigm

Be-Do-Have Paradigm

You must first BE who you really are, then DO what you need to do in order to HAVE what you want. Be-Do-Have Paradigm is shifting. Many people have learned and believed the idea If you DO study hard in school, you can HAVE a good job, and therefore BE successful. Consider this instead, if we can see/feel/imagine ourselves where we want to BE, then we will be inspired to DO the things that will allow us to HAVE all that we want.

This Be-Do-Have principle is successful in reaching goals and hopefully will inspire you to start living the life you truly want today, without waiting until you have everything in place before you start living the life you really want to live.

If you fall into this self-defeating trap, you are actually living this principle in reverse.  Most people believe if they HAVE something, they can finally DO something, which will allow them to BE something. You must first BE who you really are, then DO what you need to do in order to HAVE what you want.

Example

“If I had more money, I could finally buy my dream home and then I would be happy.”

All of this comes down to BEING the person you want to be by first creating it with your thoughts.  Your thoughts are the basis of your beliefs.  When you think you can or can’t do something, you affirm it in your actions.  BEING is acting “As If”…. whether that future self is one month from now or five years.

You must BE the millionaire first, long before you actually have the money in your bank account.  How would a millionaire think?  How would they make decisions?

Create your new reality by using this simple principle. Be clear about where you want to BE, then you will be inspired to DO the things that will allow you to HAVE all that you want.

Clarity is empowering, as Thoreau invited, “go confidently in the direction of your dreams.” Creating a clear image of an end result empowers its achievement. Once you clearly SEE it, you will BE it, and DO it, and in due course, you will HAVE it.
