So for my birthday this year, let me be honest. I don’t need anything added to my abundance of “stuff”. But what I would like is to have you share in the joy of making a difference. In recent months I have become a good friend of the Maasai people of Kenya and I understand their “needs” quite well. Education is a top priority for them, but funding it can be difficult at times. They don’t get a “free” education like we do. (Sorry, I know it’s not really free every time I pay my taxes) The African people need to pay each term for their children to go to school plus supply them with a uniform. For many, they can barely put food on the table! For just $20/month or $250 a year, a student can go to school and get an education that will pull them from poverty. Any little bit you can do to help would be a fabulous gift to them and to me. $5, $10, $50 or more! I’ll pool the money together and we’ll fund these three beautiful children!
